Yoko Kubrick, California Abstract Sculptor
Yoko Kubrick
Yoko Kubrick is a Japanese–Czech American abstract sculptor based in California, creating monumental works in marble and stone for architecture, landscape, and public space.
Drawing upon the curves, openings, and rhythms found in nature, she brings a distinctly female perspective and a language of softness, sensuality, and movement into dialogue with architecture, landscape, and public space. Her sculptures make enduring stone appear fluid, yielding, and alive.
