Yoko Kubrick is a Japanese–Czech American sculptor creating monumental and human-scale works in marble, granite, bronze, and stainless steel.
Working between California and the stone-carving ateliers of Pietrasanta, Italy, Kubrick brings geological mass into dialogue with the body, landscape, and architecture. Through curve, void, tension, and compression, she transforms enduring materials into forms that appear fluid, animated, and continually in motion.
Her sculptures are created for public space, institutional settings, architecture, landscape, and private collections.
