Seen first from the house, Lethe anchors the garden axis, drawing the eye through the parterre before the sculpture is encountered up close.
For the 2019 San Francisco Decorator Showcase at historic Le Petit Trianon, Yoko Kubrick collaborated with Zeterre Landscape Architecture and DZINE to integrate six marble sculptures throughout the redesigned garden.
Monumental and intimately scaled works were positioned in dialogue with the architecture and landscape, including Lethe, which anchors the principal garden axis. The collaboration explored sculpture not as an isolated object, but as an integral element of the spatial experience.

From Stone to Sculpture

From stone selection through fabrication and installation, Kubrick oversees the realization of her monumental works, working with specialized stone artisans, fabricators, engineers, riggers and installation teams.
